Dear Members and Parents,

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of Ash Mini Rugby Club will be held in the club house on THURSDAY 17^th APRIL it is essential that we have one adult from each family as this meeting will be mainly concerned with the future of Ash Mini Rugby Club. If there is a specific reason why you cannot attend please see Alan or Jez a.s.a.p.

Other News...

May we remind you that club kit, which consists of Black Shorts and Socks, Green and White Hooped Shirts and Gum-shields can all be purchased from the club shop (see Alan). Additional item like wool hats, rugby studs, and training tops are also on sale. If there are shirts or boots that you have out grown please hand them into your coach so that they can be recycled. We are selling some of the old team shirts for £8 each; this is to fund the purchase of new stock of purchasable shirts.

REMEMBER old & worn studs can cause nasty injuries

RUGBY STUDS aluminium studs (BSI kite mark) or MOULDED STUDS MUST be worn. Not blades or football studs if unsure please ask Jez to check them.

Having taken advice and seen best practice at other clubs it appears that our systems of operations need to change. Alan and I work very hard to collect information and money, which is taking a great deal of time especially at the start of training. As such the committee has decided to collect these in a more structured way. The aim is issue player registration and indemnity letters and collect the subs with an annual membership fee. We hope that these measures will speed up our recorded keeping and make financial planning easier and also help you by not having to root around on a Sunday morning for the lose change down the back of the sofa!
