U13s v Sittingbourne

On Sunday 25th November,we travelled to Sittingbourne.

We started with a joint warm up and a small skills session, then we played a game split into 4 quarters of 15 minutes. The game was a slow start and we went 4 tries down, however we played some good rugby and competed well at the breakdown and made some good turn over ball. Unfortunately, we couldn't quite get over the white washer to score but eventually in a huge team effort and a great maul we managed to score to lift the spirits. The rest of the game was played with some great passing and ruck and mauling added to by some great lines run and free flowing rugby. There was tries traded from both sides all played with great spirit. It was finished off with hotdogs and doughnuts. The team is progressing well and improvements are clear to see onwards and upwards as they say!!!
