Help Needed!!

Hope you are all enjoying the summer months. Nearly school holidays…

Following the AGM in June we still have a number of vacancies at the club. These roles need to be filled to ensure we run effectively and smoothly. The more people we have assisting the easier it becomes.

Minis Support

Minis Fixture Secretary.  This is a role that will work alongside the Mini’s Coordinator (Dave Stephens) to ensure that fixtures are organised. It will involve an hour or two during the early part of the week, contacting clubs that maybe visiting Ash to find out numbers of players and coaches. Also contacting clubs that Ash will be visiting to pass on the numbers of our players and coaches to them. The role will involve communicating with the Ash coaches by email so that they can inform their teams of plans in plenty of time. 

Refreshments. This is a vital role to ensure that we have a supply of teas/coffees etc and bacon  rolls on a Sunday. We need someone to coordinate this to ensure alongside the Volunteer coordinator (Jo Irwin) that we have enough parents on a Sunday to help and that we have enough supplies to sell. The club relies on this income for extra funding so we really need your help with this.

Seniors Support

Ash is looking to recruit a coach to coach/manager for our senior team. This involves attending training sessions on Tuesday evenings, liaising with players through the week to put a team together, attending matches on Saturdays, collecting match fees, allocating team/club duties and generally supporting the team. if you know anyone who would be interested then please let us know.

New Season

The season commence on Sunday 3 September which will be the signing on day and home training. We will be in touch before then with registration forms and fixture lists.
