AUGUST RUGBY UPDATE | COMPETITIVE RUGBY SUSPENDED

Following the latest announcement from the RFU, the start of the competitive community rugby season has been postponed until the end of September.

The decision has been made following careful consideration, with the welfare of everyone involved in community rugby remaining the priority.

Unfortunately, this means that competitive fixtures will not be getting underway as originally planned.

We know this will be disappointing news for our players, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters who have all been looking forward to getting back out on the pitch.

But rugby isn’t going anywhere…

We’ll continue to work hard behind the scenes, keep everyone updated and make sure Ash RFC is ready to go when the green light is given.

In the meantime, keep training where appropriate, stay safe in the heat and most importantly, look after yourselves and each other.
