Rugby World Cup at Ash RFC - Week 2

The world cup is under way!

What a game to open up the tournament -  with France vs New Zealand. A cracking test match which resulted in the hosts victorious.

Ash RFC has this game on at the clubhouse, shown through it's new 75" TV, as well as the evening fixtures on Saturday - Australia vs Georgia and England vs Argentina. A suspected victory for Australia in their game, and a well rounded, must win fixture for the English.

This Weekend:

The club will definitely be open Saturday and Sunday to show the weekend fixtures. Saturday will be one showing due to Ash 1st XV playing away to Folkestone 2nd XV, with a 3pm kick off time. See below for what games will be on at the club:

Saturday 16th September:

20:00 KO: Ireland vs Tonga

Sunday 17th September:

20:00 KO: England vs Japan

The bar will be open, as well as hot dogs being available at a cost of £1, with good company throughout the weekend. Make sure to put these dates in your calendars and be there to watch these great RWC fixtures!
